If you will be practicing engineering or geoscience in the name of a company in New Brunswick, for application in New Brunswick, or affecting the public safety of New Brunswick, the company must be registered with APEGNB.

In order to apply for a Certificate of Authorization, please use the online application form. The form will advise you of which supporting documents are required for your situation and how to submit them. If we do not receive all required supporting documents within 1 year of the date of your application submission, your file will be closed. You will be required to reapply should you wish to continue with your registration.

When your application is processed, you will receive an email with next steps.

Once your file is complete, it will be sent to the Board of Admissions for review and approval.

Your Certificate of Authorization application can be submitted and processed at the same time as your individual licence(s) to practice.
